Locum | Physician Emergency Medicine

About the role

24/48/72 hour shifts available at a hospital in Bigfork, MN. The position involves managing a 2,500 volume caseload without trauma cases, which are shipped to Duluth. ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care under the supervision of the medical staff
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• American Board of Emergency Medicine Certification
• Hospital privileges

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Minnesota

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
