About the role
Locum assignments vary in duration—from as short as a day to as long as several years—and can be local or require travel. This opportunity offers:
- 15–18 shifts per month
- 12-hour shifts: 7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am
- Annual emergency department volume of approximately 4,000 patients
- Emergency medicine practice in a hospital setting
- Day-shift hospitalist on-site with tele-intensivist coverage overnight
- ED physician responds to all codes on the medical/surgical floor
- No rounding required
