About the role
In an inpatient acute care hospital setting, this position involves patient care in a mixed patient population primarily consisting of cardiac and medical critical care patients. The role requires procedures such as intubation, central lines, and chest tubes, as well as ventilator management and hemodynamic stability management. Experience managing multi-organ dysfunction is also required. Candidates must have at least 50 critical care inpatient encounters within the last 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Shifts: 7 am – 7 pm with potential for on-call overnight
- On-site night APP support
- Perform procedures including intubation, central lines, chest tubes
- Manage ventilator settings and hemodynamic stability
- Manage multi-organ dysfunction
Requirements
- Experience with intubation, central lines, chest tubes
- Proven skills in ventilator management and hemodynamic stability
- Experience managing multi-organ dysfunction
- At least 50 critical care inpatient encounters in the last 12 months
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Current ACLS certification
