Locum | Physician Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

About the role

An OH Facility Needs a Locum Tenens Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

• Provides psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
• Treats patients with a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, and behavioral issues.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized treatment strategies.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Hospital privileges required.
• PALS and BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

7 days on / 7 days off schedule — 7 am – 5 pm onsite.
