Locum | Physician Cardiovascular Surgery

About the role

Call-only coverage with 20 shifts per month. 24-hour beeper call requiring a 20-minute response time. Practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, including open and endoscopic procedures
• Conduct CABG (on-pump and off-pump)
• Perform valvular repair and replacement
• Experience with TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) and left ventricular assist devices
• Repair congenital defects such as ASD (Atrial Septal Defect), VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect), and PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale)
