Responsibilities

• Beeper call with 20 minute response time required
• Call ratio: 1:2
• Average 4 - 5 phone consults, patient visits, and admissions per 24 hours
• Inpatient rounding and call coverage included
• Extensive CV/thoracic surgery skills required
• TAVR, CABG, LVAD, valve repair/replacement, and lung resection skills required
• Congenital defect repair and aneurysm repair skills required
• Bronchoscopy and vent management skills required
