Locum | Physician Cardiology

About the role

This position involves advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. It includes inpatient and outpatient coverage, clinic appointments lasting 30 minutes, echo interpretations and stress echos, nuclear studies, EKG reads, TEE and cardioversion experience, and vascular ultrasounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Interpret echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
• Read nuclear studies and EKGs
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions
• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations

Requirements

• Experience with echo interpretations and stress echos
• Experience with nuclear studies and EKG reads
• Experience with TEE and cardioversions
• Experience with vascular ultrasounds is a plus

Qualifications

• Board-certified in cardiology
• Experience with advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay

The pay is negotiable and deposited weekly.

Schedule

The schedule is 1-2 weeks per month with an average of 8-20 consults per week.
