About the role
A NC Facility is seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist.
Responsibilities
- Treats adults and healthy pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
- Places all blocks, spinals, and labor epidurals for obstetric patients.
- Requires strong regional anesthesia skills, including upper and lower extremity blocks.
- Performs general, orthopedic, ear, nose, and throat, robotic, gynecology, urology, pedodontics, ophthalmology, endocrinology, and obstetric procedures.
- No involvement with cardiac, thoracic, sick pediatric, or head cases.
- Cannot be isolated from obstetric services.
Requirements
- Current NC medical license.
- ABMS certification in anesthesiology.
- At least one year of recent clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
Skills
- Regional anesthesia skills, including upper and lower extremity blocks.
- Experience with various surgical specialties such as general, orthopedic, ENT, robotics, gynecology, urology, pedodontics, ophthalmology, endocrinology, and obstetrics.
