Locum | Physician Anesthesiology

About the role

Open to Saturday/Sunday 10-hour day shifts — no night call.

Responsibilities

• Perform anesthesia services in an OR setting.
• Treatment of ASA 1 - 6 patients, mostly 2 - 4, with a CMI of 2.3.
• Assist with general, trauma, thoracic, neuro, vascular, orthopedic, and other procedures.
• No involvement in cardiac, pediatric, or transplant surgeries; these are handled by the acute pain team.

Requirements

• Current license to practice in Oregon.
• Experience in an OR setting preferred.
• Knowledge of ASA classifications and patient management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification in anesthesiology.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing surgical patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.

M-F, 7 am - 5 pm with 1 - 3 hours OT weekly.
