Schedule

• Monday – Thursday, 6 am – 4 pm (10-hour shifts) plus nightly beeper call
• 24-hour weekend call – Friday 6 am through Monday 6 am
• 10 – 15 patients per shift

Practice setting

• Inpatient practice setting – both inpatient and outpatient rounding
• Supervision model – 1 MDA with 2 – 3 CRNAs per day
• MAC, general anesthesia, endo, GI, ortho, regional, and peds cases
• Skills required – central line, arterial line, post-op extremity blocks
• 3 operating rooms
