Locum Orthopedic Surgeon

Role: Orthopaedic Surgeon covering emergency department call shifts. Responsibilities Provide orthopaedic emergency care during 24-hour call shifts, handling fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedic cases.Perform arthroscopy and total joint replacement procedures, including joint revision or repair of shoulder, hip, and knee.Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases with an average of 1-2 patients per shift.Handle phone consults, typically 0-5 per shift. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and revision/repair procedures.Experience with fractures, sports injuries, and general orthopaedic cases.Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Duties: Provide orthopaedic emergency coverage, perform surgical procedures, consult with patients, and manage cases in fast-paced environments.
