A temporary locum tenens assignment lasting 13 weeks at an acute-care hospital in Centralia, WA.

About the role

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life.
• Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries (scope of practice dependent).
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions.
• Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Stay current on advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education.

Schedule

• Standard 3 shifts of 24 hours each (07:00 – 07:00).
• Scheduled coverage; no call required.

Pay

$240 – $270 per hour.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by ACGME or AOA.
• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by ABOG or AOA.
• Active, unrestricted Washington medical license.
• At least one year of clinical or hospital-based obstetric and gynecological care experience preferred.
