Locum Obstetrics Gynecologist

Seeking a qualified physician for a locum tenens role with responsibilities including rounding on assigned patients, managing low & high risk pregnancies, performing vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and surgical gynecology procedures such as laparoscopic and major operative surgeries. Additional duties may involve OB ultrasound interpretation, VBAC, and complex laceration repair. Requires participation in 24-hour in-house call shifts, averaging 6.7 patients per shift, with approximately 600 deliveries annually. The role offers paid malpractice insurance, competitive hourly pay from $150.00 to $225.00, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Key skills include experience in obstetrics, gynecology, surgical procedures, ultrasound, and managing complex pregnancies. Strong communication, clinical expertise, and the ability to work independently are essential.
