About the role
Experienced healthcare professional specializing in high-risk obstetrics and delivery care.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-acuity obstetric cases
- Perform ultrasound interpretation
- Assist with complicated deliveries including C-sections
- Handle emergency procedures such as hysterectomy and ectopic pregnancies
- Conduct 5-8 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month
- Care for approximately 25 patients per shift
- Support MD providers with a team of 5 midwives in a busy practice with around 3,000 deliveries annually
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in high-risk pregnancy management
- Ultrasound skills
- Decision-making for C-sections and complex deliveries
Pay
Compensation ranges from $150 to $225 hourly, inclusive of base pay and additional earnings.
