About the role
Seeking an OB/GYN physician to provide outpatient women's health, obstetrics, deliveries, and call coverage within a well-established healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Prenatal care
- Labor and delivery
- Vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Emergency OB coverage
- General and surgical gynecology
- Call coverage with 1:1 beeper system, responding within 25 minutes
- Covering unassigned patients
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible OB/GYN
- Active North Carolina license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
Practice environment
- Modern hospital-supported program with approximately 360 deliveries annually
- Support from APPs, medical assistants, and established referral networks
- Athena EMR
- Ongoing coverage needs with multiple coverage blocks
- Consistent patient volume
- Potential for repeat scheduling
- Supportive clinical environment
