Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns.
• Perform procedures such as splints, wound care, suturing, X-rays, EKGs, blood draws, and IV placements.
• Make appropriate referrals for high-acuity cases.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with experience in Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine.
• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• BLS certification.
• Comfortable with suturing, splinting, diagnostics, and able to work independently.
