Locum Interventional Radiologist

About the role

This position involves providing interventional radiology services with a focus on procedures such as PAD, CLI, DVT, IVC filters, UFE, PAE, kyphoplasty, port placements, hemodialysis access, renal ablation, and image-guided biopsies and drains. The role is primarily IR, with no diagnostic radiology call or productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform 6-10 procedures daily
• Participate in occasional night and weekend call
• Contribute to an expanding interventional oncology practice including Y-90, TIPS, and BRTO
• Manage procedures in a clinical setting

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates should have expertise in interventional radiology procedures, with strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently. The role offers comprehensive support, including credentialing, licensing, and malpractice coverage.
