Locum Interventional Cardiologist Inpatient Coverage

About the Role

Seeking an Interventional Cardiologist (MD) for inpatient rounding coverage on a day shift schedule. The position involves managing inpatient cardiac cases in collaboration with 2 cardiac hospitalists, with no procedures or call required. The clinician will work in a facility with established protocols and a supportive cardiac team.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rounding coverage during scheduled blocks of 7 consecutive days, 1-2 times per month.
• Collaborate with hospitalists to ensure continuous inpatient cardiac care.
• Manage adult patient cases in an on-site setting.

Requirements

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong inpatient management skills.

Schedule

Day shift, with scheduled blocks of 7 consecutive days, 1-2 times per month.
