About the role

Seeking a physician to provide locum tenens coverage with a flexible schedule of full-time work, primarily three weeks per month, including scheduled clinical hours and call duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of 2‑12 per shift with assigned rounding responsibilities.
• Handle a call ratio of 1/3, with a 30‑minute response time.
• Respond to 3‑5 phone consults and see 3‑15 patients within a 24‑hour period.
• Maintain hospital privileges to ensure smooth practice.
• Use an online portal for assignment details and time entry.
• Maintain excellent communication with a dedicated healthcare consultant available 24/7.
• Support ongoing coverage by replacing an existing locum provider.
