Pay

$95/hour - $110/hour

Schedule and Coverage

  • 13-week assignment starting 09-21-26
  • Scheduled shifts with no call required
  • Standard 5-day workweek, 12-hour shifts (08:00 - 20:00)

About the Role

This is a locum tenens Nurse Practitioner position focused on pediatric hospitalist care. Specific assignment details may vary based on the healthcare facility and patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
  • Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices
  • Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, pediatrics)
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Ohio
  • National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP])
  • At least one year of clinical experience in a relevant specialty (preferred)
