Locum Hematologist/Oncologist

About the role

We are seeking a physician for a locum tenens role with inpatient and outpatient coverage, including rounding responsibilities. The position involves managing acute leukemia, inpatient chemotherapy, and patients post-autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute leukemia, inpatient chemotherapy, and post-treatment care for autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy patients
• See approximately 15 patients per shift
• Provide hospital call coverage (primarily phone-based)
• Handle both inpatient and outpatient cases

Requirements

• Experience with bone marrow biopsies (preferred)
• Experience with autologous stem cell transplant and CAR-T therapy (preferred)
• Relevant experience with complex hematologic treatments and procedures
