Seeking a qualified Gastroenterology MD for a locum position in Athens, GA.
Responsibilities
- Rounding on inpatients and managing adult patients
- Performing basic GI procedures as needed
- Covering ED and inpatient consults during assigned call shifts
- Providing inpatient care in an inpatient service setting
Qualifications
- Active Georgia medical license
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA and CSR registration
- Clean professional record and self-query NPDB report
- Local candidate preferred
Skills
- Proficiency with Epic Beaker EMR
- Ability to provide call coverage from 7a to 7a
- Experience with adult patients and GI procedures
