Locum ER Veterinarian

About the role

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Emergency Clinician to support the Detroit market. The dedicated team focuses on delivering exceptional emergency care for pets and their families in a supportive, collaborative environment. ER doctors rotate across multiple locations, working alongside specialists in oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology, radiology, internal medicine, and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency veterinary care to pets and their families
• Collaborate with specialist teams at Southfield and Ann Arbor hospitals
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current North American license to practice veterinary medicine
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Completion of a residency program in emergency medicine (preferred but not required)

Locum Shift Pay: $1500
