About the Role
A licensed Otolaryngologist (MD) responsible for providing 24-hour in-house call coverage in an academic facility, covering both operating room and emergency room settings. The role involves responding to surgical and emergency ENT requests, performing procedures as needed, and supporting patient care across all ages.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive otolaryngology services in OR and ER environments
- Respond to surgical and emergency requests promptly
- Perform ENT procedures and interventions as required
- Participate in weekend in-house call rotations
- Collaborate with support staff, including residents
Qualifications & Skills
- Board certification in Otolaryngology
- Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
- Experience in emergency and surgical ENT care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
