Locum CRNA for Inpatient Coverage

About the role

Opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in an inpatient critical access hospital setting. The role involves providing anesthesia services under physician supervision during day shifts, with call and 24-hour call duties.

The case mix includes general surgery, C-sections, minor orthopedic procedures, and epidurals for OB cases, managing approximately 10 OB patients per month. Call coverage also includes ER intubation and sedation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services under physician supervision
• Manage anesthesia for general surgery, C-sections, minor orthopedic procedures, and epidurals for OB cases
• Handle approximately 10 OB patients per month
• Perform ER intubation and sedation procedures during call coverage
• Work on-site with supervision/medical direction (no prescriptive authority or hands-on percentage requirement)

Requirements

• Board certification is negotiable
• Ability to perform epidurals and manage diverse surgical cases
• Relevant qualifications for a CRNA role
