About the Role
We are seeking a certified CRNA for a locum tenens role in a hospital located in central Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Performing anesthesia for a variety of cases such as general, pediatric, OB, and vascular procedures.
- Managing airway techniques, including airway management and occasional thoracic cases requiring double lumen endotracheal tubes.
- Executing ultrasound-guided blocks, neuraxial anesthesia, and vascular access procedures like IV, arterial, and central lines.
- Providing supervision and overseeing anesthesia delivery.
Requirements
- Board certification in anesthesia required.
- Experience with diverse case types and airway management.
- Ability to perform ultrasound-guided procedures and vascular access.
Schedule
- Work 12-hour day shifts with in-house call, minimal trauma cases.
- Handle a variable case load with no hands-on responsibilities during the shift.
- Participate in at least one call shift per month.
