Role Overview

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia services in a multi-specialty surgical center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia for diverse procedures including cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma cases
• Proficient in spinals, epidurals, and nerve blocks
• Work under supervision with MDs on-site, primarily during day shifts with call coverage
• Provide anesthesia with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and effective pain management

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification is mandatory
• Prescriptive authority required
• Experience with various anesthesia techniques and case types
• Ability to respond promptly during on-call hours
• Familiarity with supervision models and collaborative team settings

Key Duties

• Cover sporadic dates for vacation coverage
• Handle diverse case loads
• Participate in call duties
• Provide anesthesia services in an on-site setting, supporting a broad range of surgical procedures
