About the role
We are seeking a qualified CRNA to provide anesthesia services in a government-owned acute care hospital serving a large, remote Southeast Alaska region. The role involves managing diverse surgical cases including pediatric dental, orthopedic, OB/GYN, general surgery, robotics, endoscopic procedures, trauma, and crash C-sections. Complex surgeries such as cardiac, transplant, and neurosurgery are excluded.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures
- Manage case load and productivity (PPD) on-site
- Work autonomously within the hospital’s anesthesia protocols
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call responsibilities may be negotiable.
Requirements
- Board certification as a CRNA
- Experience in diverse surgical settings
Skills
- Autonomous decision-making and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in anesthesia protocols and the Meditech EMR system
