Locum CRNA

About the role

Provide comprehensive anesthesia services across multiple facilities, managing diverse cases including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and pediatrics. Work in a busy hospital setting with 22 anesthesia rooms under MD supervision, with a 1:4 clinician-to-MD ratio. Operate during day shifts, utilizing Epic charting systems, and ensure patient safety and care quality. No call responsibilities or overtime expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on anesthesia care in a supervised setting
• Manage varied surgical cases efficiently
• Collaborate with MDs and healthcare team members
• Utilize Epic electronic charting system across multiple facilities
• Maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements

Requirements

• Board certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Virginia licensure required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent clinical skills in anesthesia management across all age groups
