Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Critical Care position in Overland Park, KS.
Pay
$270/hour - $285/hour
Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting 11-02-26
- Scheduled shifts with no call required
- Standard 5-day workweek, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care to critically ill patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring
- Oversee ICU operations, including staffing, equipment, and protocols
- Perform medical procedures such as intubation, central venous catheter placement, and mechanical ventilation
- Provide consultation services to other medical team members regarding critically ill patients
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Residency training in internal medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, or a related field (ACGME or AOA accredited)
- Fellowship training in critical care medicine
- Board certification in critical care medicine (ABIM, ABA, or similar certifying body)
- Active and unrestricted Kansas medical license
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least one year of clinical experience in critical care (preferred)
