Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in cardiovascular care within a clinic setting, providing outpatient and inpatient services. The clinician will manage a caseload of 10-12 adult patients daily, conducting general cardiology consultations and follow-ups for cardiovascular disease management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care during a day shift, with no call coverage required.
• Exercise prescriptive authority in managing patient care.
• Work on-site, overseeing both outpatient and inpatient cases.
• Manage adult patient populations and adhere to established clinical protocols to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in a relevant specialty is required.
• Strong clinical skills in cardiology, patient management, and follow-up care.
• Ability to handle a busy caseload efficiently.
