About the Role
Provide clinical coverage and specialized cardiology services in a locum tenens capacity, focusing on hospital-based patient care and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled clinical hours with call coverage.
- Manage 9-12 patient encounters per shift, including inpatient and outpatient care.
- Round on assigned patients, including ICU cases.
- Conduct procedures such as echocardiograms, nuclear imaging, and TEE (preferred).
- Provide phone consults with a 20-minute response time.
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Hospital privileges required.
- Experience with ICU, echo, nuclear, and TEE procedures preferred.
- Strong communication skills for consults and patient care.
