Locum Cardiologist

Role Overview: This inpatient cardiovascular physician provides 24-hour call coverage, with on-site duties including rounding, consults, and procedures. The position involves managing a patient load of 10-15 adults daily, supported by a team of 13 APPs. Responsibilities Deliver inpatient cardiovascular disease management in a hospital settingPerform procedures and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, nuclear cardiology, and TEE (asset)Complete clinical documentation using EPIC EMRCoordinate care effectively with support staff and APPs Qualifications & Skills Board certification in cardiologyExperience with echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, nuclear cardiology, and TEE preferredAbility to manage inpatient care independently with 24-hour call availability Key Duties: Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with support staff to deliver quality patient outcomes.
