Locum Cardiologist

This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, requiring expertise in heart caths, TEEs, stress echos, and angiograms. The clinician will read echoes, EKGs, and stress echos, with nuclear reads preferred. Responsibilities include managing a patient load of 7-9 per shift, covering leave, and participating in weeknight and weekend beeper call. Key duties also encompass ensuring quality patient care across both settings, utilizing onsite support for nuclear reads if needed, and maintaining accurate documentation through an online portal. The position offers paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, competitive compensation, and 24-hour access to a dedicated consultant.
