Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 10-01-26
• Standard 5-day, 8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00)
• Scheduled shifts with on-call requirements

About the Role

• Temporary locum tenens assignment at an acute care hospital
• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthesia care
• Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia based on patient and procedure needs
• Continuously monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
• Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations during surgery
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in medical records
• Stay current on advancements in anesthesiology through continuing education

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency training in anesthesiology accredited by ACGME or AOA
• Board certification in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Washington
• At least one year of clinical anesthesia experience preferred
