Locum Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist

About the role

This role is for an experienced Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist providing outpatient coverage in a hospital-based laboratory.

Responsibilities

• examining surgical pathology and cytology specimens
• grossing specimens independently
• performing frozen section evaluations using a cryostat
• managing a high-volume caseload of approximately 13,000 surgical and 3,000 cytology specimens annually in a hospital setting

Qualifications

• board certification in Anatomic Pathology
• an active New York State license

Schedule

The workplace environment is on-site, with a daily day shift schedule, and no call responsibilities.
