Locate Technician - Broomfield, CO and Surrounding Areas

About the role

Stake Center Locating is recruiting new and experienced Locators to join their team. This role requires a proven track record in locating services, with a strong emphasis on independence, problem-solving, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
• Use advanced locating equipment and vehicles
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in locating services
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Proficiency with locating equipment and software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college or technical training in a related field
• Knowledge of local utility codes and regulations
• Experience with safety protocols and hazard recognition
