Localization Project Manager

About The Role

The Planet Group is looking for a Localization Project Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-months contract, working an onsite schedule out of Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate localization QA efforts
• Conduct (exploratory) testing on localization tools
• Thoroughly document and track bugs
• Work closely with both internal team members and international vendor testers
• Ensure that localization projects are on track, highly accurate, and represent client's voice assistant seamlessly across all regions
• Manage linguistic issues across all covered territories
• Provide international customers with a flawless user experience

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of localization workflows, software QA, and online production processes
• Proficiency in utilizing and performing quality assurance on localization tools, with a strong foundation in exploratory testing methodologies
• Proven track record of localization and tools testing, detailed bug reporting, and localization project management
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently in a global team environment
• Experience planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within very tight timeframes in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• High level of focus, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to identify and prioritize key deliverables and call out blockers as soon as they arise
• Flexibility to respond quickly and enthusiastically to rapidly changing directions and complex situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level expertise in at least one language in addition to English, alongside excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Competence working on iOS and macOS platform

Pay & Schedule

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Schedule: 40 hours
• Duration: 6 months
• Pay: $55/hr - $60.45/hr (DOE)
