Local (Yard) Driver / DC Loader

Looking to lift your career? You'll play a crucial role loading and unloading trucks. You’ll also occasionally help transport trailers on our facility property as needed. Responsibilities

• Load trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner, ensuring all products are scanned properly to the truck, department data is accurately recorded, and paperwork is completed thoroughly.
• Relocate, transport, and stage trailers for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production, and shipping goals.
• Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.
• Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.
• Maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Class-A driver's license (CDL).
• Minimum 1-year CDL driving experience.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
• Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.

Pay

$25 per hour; overtime required as needed.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday; 6:00 am - 4:00 pm.
