Local Truck Driver Class A

About the role

Full-time, permanent Local Truck Driver position in Columbus, OH. You will primarily operate a 26' box truck delivering John Deere parts to dealerships and fill in as a Class A CDL driver to cover vacations, time off, and other business needs.

Pay

$25.00 per hour with weekly pay via direct deposit.

Schedule

• 40 hours every week, home daily
• Tuesday–Saturday schedule
• Regular delivery route starts at 1:30 AM in a 26' box truck
• Class A fill-in routes typically start between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26' box truck making local deliveries to John Deere dealerships
• Serve as the primary Local Truck Driver on daily delivery routes
• Fill in on tractor-trailer routes as needed
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, unload, and secure freight safely
• Maintain delivery paperwork and records
• Provide excellent customer service
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT Medical Certificate
• Clean MVR
• Consistent work history
• At least 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Ability to safely operate a 26' box truck and a Freightliner tractor with a 53' trailer
• Reliable, safety-focused, and dependable professional
• Previous experience as a Local Truck Driver preferred
