Local Truck Driver - CDL Class A

About the role

White Cap, North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors, is hiring immediately for a CDL A Driver. You will coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, helping to build America’s skyline while working in an exciting, diverse environment that values trust, safety, and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites.
• May use a truck‑mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.
• Follow DOT regulations, maintain vehicle safety, and adhere to strict maintenance schedules and regular inspections.
• Ensure manifests and all paperwork are accurate.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of CDL driving experience.
• Valid state‑issued Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with all required endorsements for the equipment operated.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.
• Forklift certification.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Pay

Virginia law requires the posting of a salary range for advertised jobs. The range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for the position. Individual base pay is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors.
