About the role
J.B. Hunt is hiring local CDL-A last mile drivers to join their team. The role offers stability and consistency as part of one of the country's premier last mile delivery providers.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles within the assigned routes
- Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 6 months of trucking experience
- Good driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Passing physical exam and drug test
Skills
- Proficient in operating a Class A commercial vehicle
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Good customer service skills

Annualized earnings may vary based on factors such as training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type, and number of days worked each week. Safety bonuses and incentives may also apply based on profitability or performance.
