Local Truck Driver

About the role

J.B. Hunt is hiring dedicated truck drivers for its Dedicated Contract Services division. Drivers enjoy consistent freight and deliveries for a single customer on an activity-based pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.

Pay

• Base pay: $0.63–$0.75 per mile (cpm)
• Detention pay: $25 per hour
• Stop pay: $20 per stop
• Backhaul pay: $30 per load
• Holiday pay: $200 per day
• Miscellaneous work pay: $20 per hour
• New hire training pay: $200 per day
• Safety training pay: $20 per hour
• Attendance bonus: $100 per week
• Sign-on bonus: $3,000 (limited time)
• Drivers over the last 6–12 months have averaged annualized earnings of $80,000

Annualized earnings may vary based on training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type, and days worked per week. This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance.

Schedule

Daily home time.

• Majority no-touch freight
• Onsite management
• Paid online orientation

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of trucking experience
