J.B. Hunt is hiring intermodal truck drivers. Drive with J.B. Hunt Intermodal and enjoy express access railyard gates, onsite maintenance and 100% company-owned equipment. This position is an activity-based pay plan that encourages safety, efficiency and a strong work ethic. Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $84,500. J.B. Hunt company drivers enjoy a culture of safety dedicated to recognizing and rewarding safe drivers.
Pay
- Base pay: $0.59 – $0.64 per mile
- Detention pay: $23 – $30 per hour
- Drop and hook: $53 per stop
- Live load/unload: $73 per stop
- Driver load/unload: $45 per stop
- Hazmat: $40 per load
- Refrigerated: $40 per load
- Crosstown: $25 per load
- Driver assist: $25 per load
- Empty move: $25 per load
- Empty search: $20 per hour
- Mechanical breakdown: $23 per hour
- Mechanical tractor repositioning: $23 per hour
- Rail delay: $23 per hour
- Refused delivery: $53 per load
- Truck order not used: $23 per hour
- Waiting on truck: $23 per hour
- Overweight rework: $23 per hour
- Yard checks: $23 per hour
- Safety training: $23 per hour
- Mandatory in-person roundtables and safety meetings: $30 per hour
- New hire training: $200 per day
- Holiday pay: $220 per day
Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have averaged annualized earnings of $84,500. Factors which may affect annualized earnings include training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type and number of days worked each week. This position may be eligible for safety bonuses and incentives based on profitability or performance, as applicable.

Requirements
- Class A CDL
- 3 months trucking experience
