Drive with J.B. Hunt Intermodal and enjoy express access railyard gates, onsite maintenance, and 100% company-owned equipment. Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have achieved annualized earnings of $89,000. A $10,000 bonus is available for a limited time.
Pay
- Base mileage: $0.52 – $0.57 per mile
- Live stop pay: $88 per stop
- Drop/hook pay: $57
- Detention: $23 – $33 per hour (after one hour)
- Hazmat load: $40
- Driver load/unload: $45
- Driver assist: $25
- Yard checks: $23 per hour
- Refused delivery: $57
- Truck order not used: $35
- Crosstown, empty move: $25
- Rail delay, mechanical breakdown, mechanical tractor repositioning, or waiting for power unit: $23 per hour
- Safety training or roundtable meetings: $23 per hour
- Overweight rework: $23 per hour
- Reefer load: $40
- Empty search: $20 per hour
- Scaling: $10
- New hire training pay: $200 per day
- Holiday pay: $210 per day
