About the role
J.B. Hunt is hiring local Class A drivers in our industry-leading Dedicated Contract Services business unit. Enjoy the consistency and efficiency of delivering freight to a single customer while getting home every day. This role is compensated using an activity-based payment plan to reward drivers for their commitment to delivering excellence and increase income based on individual efforts.
Responsibilities
- Frequent contact with customer employees
- Contact with the motoring public at fuel stations and rest stops

Requirements
- Class A CDL
- 3 months trucking experience
Pay
- Average weekly gross: $1,634.62
- Average yearly gross: $85,000
- CPM: $0.75 – $0.79 per mile
- Holiday pay: $200 per day
- JBI loads: $100 – $350 per load
- New hire training: $200 per day
- Pallet quality check: $215 per day
- Safety training: $20 per hour
- Safety bonus opportunities
- Activity-based payment plan; earnings affected by training completed, paid breaks, endorsements, tenure, equipment type, and days worked per week
