As a Local Truck Driver, you will drive and operate roll-off trucks, trailers, and vacuum tankers to perform local pickups and deliveries, ensuring safe and compliant waste management operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate roll-off trucks, trailers, and vacuum tankers for local pickups and deliveries (no overnight trips).
  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment before each trip, ensuring they are in excellent operating order; fuel the truck as needed.
  • Complete manifests, bills of lading, and other required documents for every load; inspect loads for security, proper labels, and markings.
  • Maintain electronic hours of service for DOT compliance and adherence to State and Federal regulations.
  • Transport loads from customer sites to local hazardous and non-hazardous waste facilities for unloading and disposal.
  • Act as a courteous Company representative with every customer.
  • Load, line, and dump roll-off boxes.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 1+ years of Class B CDL driving experience (required).
