Local Travel Registered Nurse, RN, Med Surg/Tele

About the Role

FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution – offers premium compensation and maximum flexibility for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs). This role involves filling short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with both nationwide and regional opportunities available.

FirstChoice travel Health Care Professionals fill critical positions due to unforeseen circumstances, extended leave, or unplanned staffing needs. You’ll experience a variety of practice settings while traveling within your local region or nationally.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions as needed.
• Apply standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification/Solutions, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate.
• Act independently within your license, scope of knowledge, and experience in your practice area while retaining accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties, including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Maintain credentials required per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Pay

Gross weekly rate: $2,448.00.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment.
• 3x12-hour shifts (night shift).
• Start date: ASAP.

Location: St Alphonsus Health System, Nampa, ID.
