About the role

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. It operates in a high‑intensity, high‑transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food‑away‑from‑home customers in Texas and New Mexico from five distribution centers. The Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its inception. Labatt equips its trucks with the latest safety technology—adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire‑pressure monitoring on all tires—and all vehicles are new with automatic transmissions for a smooth ride.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learn how to drive a tractor‑trailer
• Interact with customers

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL
• Proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Pass pre‑employment background check and motor vehicle report
• Pass drug test
• Pass physical

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am – 5:00 am to finish.

Pay

• Average $190 per day ($950 per week)
• Average annual income $65,000 – $80,000
• Up to $3,000 driver referral bonus (paid once employed)
• $12,000 retention bonus paid out after 3 years
