Local Student Driver

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers. Our Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its origination.

Labatt prioritizes driver safety with the latest fleet technology, including adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All trucks are new, equipped with automatic transmissions for a smooth ride.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learn how to drive a tractor-trailer
• Interact with customers

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a valid Texas Class A Permit or Texas Class A CDL
• Proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am - 5:00 am
• Home on weekends

Pay

• Average $180 daily ($900 weekly)
• Average income $65,000 - $90,000 yearly
• Up to $1,500 driver referral bonus (offered once employed)
• $12,000 retention bonus paid out after 3 years
• Paid training to acquire your Class A CDL
